Ryan was born on 16th November 1988, he is from the island of Gozo and currently reading an MA in Tourism. In 2010 he read an MA in Diplomacy under the patronage of President Emeritus and Prof. Guido De Marco and in 2009 graduated in BA Hons in Geography from the University of Malta. He has been active in the youth field and formed part in various organizations and entities.

At the moment he is Vice-President of the National youth council, President of the Civil Society with the Malta Council for Social and Economic Development (MCESD), Youths Representative in the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF), President of the Gozo University Group (GUG), Manager of Environment, Health and Education within YEL (Young Entrepreneurship and Leadership), Assistant Secretary of UHM Youths and International and National Officer of MKSU (Moviment Kattoliku Studenti Universitarji)

He is also active on an international level as he has represented Malta and the European Youth Forum, as a Youth Ambassador, in the two opening ceremonies of the EU-China Year of Youth 2011 held in Brussels and Beijing, at the Forum on Youth and Sustainable Development in July and in August at the University Games and the forum on Youth participation in Policy Making.

Francienne was born on 19th August 1992. She is a twenty year old, third year student, reading a Bachelor’s degree in Law with International Relations at the University of Malta. She joined Gozo University Group (GUG) last year, when she was the Social Policy Officer and is now General Secretary. She also volunteers with the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (E.R.R.C.) in Gozo. In her free time she likes to read, go swimming, or horseback riding.

Elaine is currently reading a Bachelor's degree in Commerce at the University of Malta,  which played a major part in raising her interest to join the GUG as Financial Officer. Also, such a position will aid in her contribution, along with the other GUG members, towards changing and improving the Gozitan youth experience in Malta as well as Gozo. Some of her interests include music, acting and reading.

Marc, studying at The University of Malta, has taken interrest in joining GUG as Event Officer. He has taken up this position due to his initial involvement in such matters. Being born in Gozo, having followed his education and lifestyle on the island - having grown up around its 'peculiar' environment - has aroused in him the want to contribute to a healthy and worthy future for the island.He takes this position as an opportunity to give out and offer what he can for Gozitan youths.

Concentrating on the amelioration of Gozitan students' situation in Malta and Gozo, GUG is not just about event planning for him; but also other criteria that need looking after. Hence, he enjoys taking part in such motivations with the rest of the group.

Michael is currently reading a degree in Medicine and Surgery. His personal interests include sport and arts. Michael is also active in other other organizations include being the current Secretary General for JP2 YOUTHS, Social Politics Officer for MKSU, and also working within the Design Team of MMSA Media Team, having also represented Malta in the European Youth Forum in Budapest earlier this year, also being an Electoral Commissioner in the IMCS World Assembly at Cologne last July. University Course is Medicine and Surgery. Personal interests include sport and the arts.

Shaun is currently studying for a B.Sc. (Hons) Computing Science and Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics. His personal interests include reading, Philosophy, Mathematics, Physics and programming among other things.

Julia Camilleri was born on Gozo in July 1992. She is currently reading a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Biomedical Science at the University of Malta. Her interests are mainly focused on acting, dance and music and she is involved in various related organisations. Julia also enjoys reading, travelling and pursuing an active lifestyle, and looks forward to a new learning experience in fulfilling her post as GUG’s public relations officer.

Christian, who is 19 years old lives in Zebbug. He is following the BA Hons in International Relations and is currently during his 3rd year. He has various hobbies including playing football, swimming and also playing the drums.

Joseph is currently studying for a B.A. in Business Entrepreneurship. Being a person who aims high in everything he does and who believes competition is his greatest motivational factor. Some personal interests include; performing arts, football , travelling and  lifeguarding .Joseph  is also involved with other organisations, serving as public relations officer  for the Nadur Youth Council and volunteering with the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (E.R.R.C.) in Gozo.

George Attard, lives in Victoria, Gozo. Ever since he was a small boy, George has always loved music. In fact, even as a toddler he used to run around wearing a large pair of headphones on his head! Apart from music, he also enjoys playing football with the Victoria Hotspurs team. He has just finished 6th Form in Gozo, and now he is going to be studying at the ITS institute found in St.Julians Malta . 

Adrian was born in Gozo in 1990 and lives in Gharb, were he started his primary education in the Karmena Grima School. Then he continued his studies at the Ninu Cremona secondary school till the age of 16. After that he started studying at the MCAST Xewkija branch with the Foundation Certificate in Construction for a year. Upon finishing, he started the MCAST-BTEC First Diploma in construction at the Institute of Building and Construction Engineering (IBCE) in Naxxar where he persisted with his studying by doing the MCAST-BTEC National Diploma in Construction.  From this diploma he graduated as Quantity Surveyor. The MCAST-BTEC National Diploma also included a three year work experience with a construction company where he still works today as a student worker and where he had various work experiences in some of the most important construction projects in Malta, were he used to work as Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Now he is still in the apprentice course with this company and he is working as a Quantity Surveyor for an important project in Malta. At the same time he is continuing his studies at the MCAST Institute of Building and Construction Engineering in Naxxar by doing the Higher National Diploma in Construction. 

Christian Azzopardi, 19, is a Gozitan student who studies at MCAST in Malta. He has become a GUG representative of the institution and has embraced a new responsibility towards Gozitan students and their lives in Malta.

Joseph Louis Grech was born on the 31st of May of the year 1993. Hailing from the city of Gozo, he attended Sir Arturo Mercieca primary school followed by Ninu Cremona Junior lyceum and Michealangelo Refalo Sixth form all of which are found in Victoria the city he was born in. Joseph in his free time when not buried in his studies is a dj playing in clubs all around Gozo and also Sometimes in Malta. Also apart from djing Joseph plans club nights throughout the year
